HOW DO I BOOK?
Once you purchase your Groupon or Living Social deal, give us a call at your earliest convenience to book your photo shoot. Please reference our Calendar beforehand to see which dates we will be traveling to your city (or any city that we travel to), and then we will figure out the best time in your schedule and our own to book your photo shoot! You are more than welcome to book your photo shoot in a city other than where you purchased your Groupon or Living Social deal. Keep in mind we only book photo shoots over the phone, as we give you important information to keep in mind before your shoot as well as get information for your client file with us.

I AM NERVOUS! I HAVE NEVER DONE SOMETHING LIKE THIS BEFORE.
We guarantee most of our clients have never done something like this before; our job is to make your feel absolutely comfortable with the experience. When you book with us, expect to have an amazing time! It’s completely normal to have a few nerves before your shoot, but they never last too long. Our photographers are energetic professionals highly skilled in knowing how to make you look your absolute best and our image consultants can answer any questions you might have before your shoot.
WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY APPOINTMENT?
Usually around 3-4 months before you would like to have your product in your hands. It’s safe to call ahead about a month before you actually would like to have your photo shoot, as we fill up quickly and generally do not have many appointments left later than around a month before a scheduled date. After that, you will give us a call to make your viewing and ordering appointment that can generally be scheduled 1-2 weeks after your photo shoot (note that during our busier seasons like November-December and May-June that it might be 3-4 weeks out since we have a small staff to accommodate viewing appointments). After you place your order, it takes 6 weeks to arrive to you. We do offer a rush charge of $50 if you would like your order to be moved to the front of the line and received before the usual 6 week production time.

HOW LONG WILL EACH SESSION LAST?
Each luxe photo shoot session lasts approximately 60 minutes. Because we want to spend as much time as possible creating your fabulous images, we do ask that you arrive with your hair and makeup ready to go, and aim to be on location 10 to 15 minutes before your scheduled start time to allow time to get settled and changed. We recommend taking advantage of professional hair and makeup services for your special shoot, or just do your own makeup heavier than usual to make sure your features pop during your photo shoot!
WHAT IS YOUR RESCHEDULING AND CANCELLATION POLICY?
If you reschedule OR cancel on or after the Monday before your scheduled appointment time, there is a $50 fee added to your account. We have to enforce this policy regardless of reason since we have already booked our photographer’s flight and the suite we photograph out of by this time. WHERE WILL THE PHOTO SHOOT HAPPEN?
We photograph out of high end boutique hotel suites, except for our studio in Spokane, WA. We are very particular about the suites we choose, and always makes sure it has the right look for a boudoir shoot. We use a lot of the natural setting of the suite, such as the bed, furniture, near the window, etc. We also bring a few different back drops to add even more variety to your images and give you more of a studio look! Our photographers bring their own lighting as well as utilize the natural light from the windows of the suite. Feel free to contact us if you are curious as to which hotel we photograph out of in your city!
WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
Bring 4 different outfits that make you feel confident and sexy. Popular choices for our clients are corsets, matching bra and panty sets, and lingerie. If you are interested in doing boudoir for a special gift, we definitely recommend bringing something a little personal to your special someone; his favorite tie, an open button-down dress shirt, or even props like a football or guitar are great examples to help you get more creative! We also adore accessories; stilettos instantly add sexy length to legs, while pearls, ties (or anything else you can dream up!) instantly add a touch of glam and can be easy and fun way to spice up any session and make it uniquely your own. DO YOU PROVIDE HAIR AND MAKEUP?
We ask that you have your hair and makeup prepared before your appointment time; we want you to have as much time in front of our photographer as possible during your appointment! Most of our clients will get it done beforehand professionally, but you are also more than welcome to do it yourself. The only thing we recommend is that you wear it heavier than you might usually, to enhance features like your eyes and lips and make them pop in the images. We also suggest false eyelashes, as this is a glamorous photo shoot and it helps add some drama to your images. This is truly an important step in your boudoir shoot – even every day makeup will end up looking like no makeup at all through the lens of the camera; you have to wear it heavier!
CAN I BRING SOMEONE WITH ME?
Of course! You are more than welcome to bring a girlfriend with you to help with touch ups and outfit changes; our sessions make for a fabulous girls day. However, more than one friend can sometimes become an audience, and we want you to be completely relaxed. We also recommend not bringing your significant other for your own comfort as well as the comfort of our photographers. We do not allow anyone else to photograph during the session in any manner.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER MY PHOTO SHOOT?
We hope you will spend the next few days telling everyone what a great experience you had! After your session, you will call our studio to schedule your “viewing & ordering” appointment, where you will get to see your fabulous images for the very first time and choose which products you would like to purchase with us. You will view your images through an online screen sharing service, and one of our staff members will be on the phone with you, guiding you through the entire selection and ordering process. The hardest part will be narrowing down to your favorites!
CAN I PURCHASE MORE THAN WHAT MY GROUPON OR LIVING SOCIAL DEAL INCLUDES?
Of course! We offer special “Groupon Collections” that give you incredible discounts off our most popular products, like albums, larger prints, calendars, and digital images. You do not have to make this decision until your viewing and ordering appointment, and offer various payment options as well! For more information, feel free to contact us.
WHEN WILL I GET MY PRODUCT?
All our orders take 6-8 weeks to arrive to you from the time you place them (see: “When Should I Book My Appointment?” above), but we do offer a $50 rush charge if you have a special date you need it by.
WILL MY IMAGES BE USED ON YOUR WEBSITE?
ONLY with your consent! Every client signs a release form before their photo shoot that specifies whether to keep their images private or not. Any image you see on our website is actually a past client of CYS and has signed a release form so we can use her images.
